We live in the Aluminium Era
Its good
properties have resulted in a continuous 5 % annual rise in consumption of
aluminium, exceeding all other metals. Remelted and reused with relatively
minimal losses, the metal provides us with excellent reuse and recycling
opportunities, placing it among the most environmentally friendly alloys.
About 48
million tonnes of primary aluminium are manufactured per year and about 20
million tonnes of secondary aluminium are subject to reprocessing all over the
world.
What puts aluminium way ahead of other materials?

specific weight that brings about savings in the transport industry by reducing
the weight of vehicles, vessels, aircraft, etc.
- Resistance
to atmospheric effects (the fact that aluminium products do not rust reduces
renewal expenses).

applied to the transmission of high voltage electricity).
